Multi-instrumental musician, prolific writer, distinctive singer and conspicuous flutist Ian Anderson of the British band Jethro Tull shares colorful Christmas memories, and presents tracks from the “cynical and grumpy” Jethro Tull Christmas Album.

An East Nashville Christmas is a holiday-themed compilation album and concert series, created by an eclectic coalition of 75 Nashville-based Artists & Musicians, to directly benefit the homeless.  Listen for a live concert featuring hot Nashville artists from the East side of town…  recorded for Music City Roots radio show with host Jim Lauderdale!

Polyphonic Spree celebrate their 10th Dallas Holiday Extravaganza with the release of a brand new album, Holidaydream: Sounds of the Holidays Vol. One. In hour two Catalina Maria Johnson with a special Christmas edition of Latin Roots where she presents five holiday songs from different Spanish speaking traditions.

–E-TOWN CHRISTMAS (8-9pm)
The Indigo Girls play some familiar hit favorites as well as music from their seasonal CD “Holly Happy Days.” Nick & Helen Forster and the eTones provide musical backup for this much-loved and talented twosome. And eTown favorite son Tim O’Brien, Grammy winning singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (and Nick’s Hot Rize band mate), is back with us as well.

–LITTLE STEVEN’S UNDERGROUND GARAGE NEW YEAR’S SPECIAL (7-9PM)
