The Guilty Pleasure of the Day
You know them…you love them…but you hate to admit it! You know there are songs, artists, and bands that you love but hate to admit it for whatever reasons. Maybe they were played to death on Top 40 radio and everybody is sick to death of them so it’s not “cool” to say Hey, I like “Hotel California”! or “Dancing Queen” is my all time favorite tune! So instead you laugh them off or change the station or consider these tunes bad for your soul like bologna on white bread might be bad for your belly. But when no one’s around or you’re feeling a little down, you secretly return to these songs like comfort food at Mom’s house. Sure, you feel guilt and a little shame because you’re being “uncool” but these songs make you feel good too so they can’t be all bad now can they?
