Local musician extraordinare Cheyenne Marie Mize and Mayor Greg Fischer came to our studio the other day to announce a new series called The Mayor’s Music & Art Series to promote Louisville musicians in our fair city. Every first Thursday of the month there will be a free concert in the Gallery at Metro Hall beginning Thursday, Oct. 4 with a performance by Cheyenne. She gave us a taste of what we can expect to enjoy with her song “It Lingers”.
