Knowing that I was driving to Columbus to see Pearl Jam should have been a big enough thrill, but throw in the opportunity to chat with Ben Bridwell, front man of WFPK favorites Band of Horses, and I was in music-nerd heaven.  Sitting on the tour bus backstage (while the Seattle gods were sound checking next to us), we discussed their recent move from Sub Pop to Columbia, the need to write in seclusion, opening the writing duties to the full band and quite a bit more.  Enjoy!
